GOLDEN HOUR:
ALL WHITE PARTY

TICKETS

In November 2024, Alberta's combat sports community suffered a heartbreaking loss when amateur fighter Trokon Dousuah passed away following a charity MMA event. The tragedy sparked province-wide conversations about athlete safety, event oversight, and the need for stronger governance within combat sports. While no organization can eliminate every risk associated with competition, moments like these remind us why consistent standards, education, and athlete protection matter.

The Alberta Combat Sport Association (ACSA) was established to help build a safer, stronger, and more sustainable future for combat sports across Alberta. As a provincial not-for-profit organization, we are committed to supporting athletes, coaches, officials, promoters, and clubs by raising the standard of our sport through collaboration, education, and accountability.

Your support helps us deliver:

  • Provincial standards for athlete safety and event operations

  • Coach, official, and referee education and certification

  • Annual member insurance coverage for eligible injuries and liability protection included with membership

  • Support for local clubs, gyms, promoters, and officials

  • Clear athlete development pathways from grassroots participation to elite competition

  • Advocacy with municipalities, provincial government, and industry partners

  • Youth participation and community development initiatives

  • Consistent rules, governance, and best practices across Alberta

  • A connected combat sports community built on safety, integrity, and opportunity

Every ticket purchased for GOLDEN HOUR directly supports this mission. Together, we're investing in the future of combat sports in Alberta: creating an environment where athletes can pursue their passion with greater support, stronger safeguards, and a community committed to their long-term success.
